In this episode, I sit down with Lisa Schiller, Director of Investigations and Media Relations, and Julie Albrecht, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin. We discuss why engagement is more important than followers on social media, how to avoid online scams during COVID, and how the Better Business Bureau is helping build trust between businesses and consumers during these trying times.

Lisa Schiller:

*Interview consumers, compile evidence and refer cases to proper law enforcement or regulatory agency when applicable.
*Investigate consumer scams and trends; write press releases and work with media to get the information out to the public. Collaborate with regulatory (federal and local) government agencies and law enforcement on investigations that may apply to various laws, statutes, rules or regulations. Refer cases to state and national agencies.
